Adult Pickleball Clinic in Wake Forest, NC


The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is partnering with the Wake Forest Pickleball Association to sponsor adult pickleball clinics on Tuesday evenings in August. The clinics will be offered from 6-7 p.m. at the Flaherty Park Pickleball Courts, located at 1226 N. White St.

The pickleball clinics are free and open to anyone ages 18 and older, but space is limited to the first 24 registrants.

Register online through Sunday, Aug. 3, at http://wakeforestnc.recdesk.com/recdeskportal/. Anyone wishing to register will be required to set up a free account with a unique user name and password. The pickleball clinics can be found by selecting “Programs” then “Adult Athletics.”

Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a plastic ball and paddle. Easy to learn the game can be played indoors or outdoors and as singles or doubles. No special apparel is required, and equipment will be provided for use by the clinic participants.
