Pickleballers mark seven years of play

Submitted by Ann Earley, Ambassador, Canton, GA

Here's a picture from our two members who have been members of the North Georgia Pickleball Club since its beginning seven years ago. Ken Terrell is now a retired pastor living in the Woodstock area. He plays a minimum of twice a week and has clocked 35,000 miles of driving to our courts to play Pickleball! Marilyn Stapleton of Towne Lake began on the same day as Ken Terrell. She is our 2nd oldest member at age 76 years young! Ken is a 4.0 and Marilyn is a 3.5 skill level player.

Tim Mehling, from the Soliel Laurel Canyon community in Canton, is of our newest player. He is shown here playing with Judy Vonesh, another seven year member.

We are playing every Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday at 9 a.m. For more information, please call 770.401.7355.
