Geezers and Gals - Holi-Daze

We've heard from this group on a regular basis this year. Usually they were playing pickleball and eating Pizza!!! But , on December 16, the Geezers and Gals, who play at the Bacall Recreation Center in The Villages, Fl ., held their first Holi-Daze pickleball social.

12 teams competed in the Holi-Daze tournament. The one stipulation for all players was that they MUST wear some article of clothing in keeping with the Holi-Daze spirit. And sure enough, they came dressed in holiday attire, be it a tie, socks, Santa hat or reindeer antlers, and took to the courts for the competition.

And here are your Geezers and Gals - That 6'4", 230 lb Santa, wearing his Florida Santa attire of shorts and sneakers, is Dough Balne, with his wife Nancy is sitting on his lap. We understand that Dough plays the part of Santa a various charity events. The rest of the Geezers and Gals sport their holiday attire.
