Cornell, Gee take title after 3-game match

Cornell and Gee defeated Mark Stemerman and Greg Hanson in another three-game marathon 11-5, 9-11, 14-12 to claim the title in the second annual tournament held Friday morning at Lake Miona Recreation Center.
No. 1 seeds Harrison and Bluemling defeated Mari Staun and Kathy Mantel 11-4, 11-2 in the semifinals, while No. 2 seeds Bock and Day advanced after an 11-5, 11-1 victory over Christine Crenshaw and Missy Taylor.
