MIXED DOUBLES IN PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS THURSDAY

THE VILLAGES — Thursday marks the beginning of mixed doubles competition in the second annual Villages Advanced Pickleball Championship.

If last year’s tournament is any indication, this competition should be both fun and fierce, according to recreation facilities manager Lynda Feustel. Play begins at 7:30 a.m. at Bacall Recreation Center
