Atlantic South Ambassador takes Pickleball to New York

Our own Jack Beck, USAPA Ambassador for Venice/Sarasota in Florida is home in New York State for the summer...............and sharing his love of the game.

Pickle Ball clinic at Eastside Rec

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Pickle Ball is a combination of ping-pong, tennis and badminton; the rules are based on modified tennis.

Learn to play from Jack Beck, the USA Pickle Ball Association ambassador, at the Eastside Recreation tennis courts off Lake and Granger avenues.

Registration continues through June 5 for the June 8 and/or June 9 clinics, sponsored by the city of Saratoga Springs. The rain date is Wednesday, June 10.

The clinics are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for adults, and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for children ages 10 to 14. Senior citizens are welcome.

The cost for the two-day clinic is $10 per person, and $5 for senior citizens.

A maximum of 30 people can participate in each time slot
