National Coverage for Pickleball

ABC's Good Morning America did a segment on pickleball on this morning's program, Wednesday, July23, 2008. Small local TV stations have covered the game in the recent past but I believe this is the first time national television has covered the sport.

The story stressed the growth in popularity in pickleball in the US. Reference was made to pickleball as "The Next American Pastime". Reporters also presented the fact that it was a game for all ages. A clip was shown of three generations in a family playing together.

This kind of publicity will make America's fastest growing game, grow even faster.
